The LifeStraw® Crux® 2L Reservoir Filtration Kit is designed to carry 2 liters of water and goes through two distinct stages of filtration for safe and reliable hydration. The first stage involves the Hollow Fiber Filter, which effectively removes bacteria, parasites, and microplastics. The second stage consists of the Activated Carbon Filter, which helps reduce taste, odor, and chlorine from the water.

The reservoir features a wide-mouth fill port with a tethered leak-proof cap and an ergonomic handle for easy filling. An on/off lever prevents accidental drips, and the Big Bite Valve self-seals after each sip. The reservoir also includes Hydroguard™ anti-microbial technology to inhibit the growth of bacteria, ensuring the water stays clean and safe. Furthermore, all components are free of harmful chemicals such as BPA, BPS, and BPF.

Assembling the pack is simple thanks to the low-profile reservoir baffle and the Quicklink™ System, which allows for easy removal from the pack without any leaks. For added convenience, you can convert the reservoir into a gravity bag by using CamelBak's Reservoir Gravity Kit (sold separately).

With two stages of filtration, the LifeStraw® Crux® 2L Reservoir Filtration Kit offers trustworthy filtration for safe hydration. The first stage, the Hollow Fiber Membrane, removes 99.999999% of bacteria, 99.999% of protozoa, and 99.999% of microplastics, filtering up to 4,000 liters. The second stage, the Activated Carbon Filter, reduces chlorine, eliminates bad odors and tastes, and filters up to 100 liters.
